Selecting a Default Printer

This feature provides the ability for you to set up which printers to use for printing documents and parts labels. Each printer must first be installed on your machine in order for you to select them from the droplist.

Part labels can be printed from the Purchase Order or Invoice screens. Part labels print based on the part quantity (e.g., if the part quantity is two, then two part labels are printed). CCC ONE supports the DYMO® LabelWriter® printers using DYMO Address Label (30251,30252, 30254, and 30320) 11/8" x 3 1/2".

If you wish to use an alternate printer, you will need to change the printer driver in Microsoft® Windows® to include the word DYMO in the name. To set the default label printer for a specific computer, select Configure > Machine Settings > Default Printers, and then select the DYMO printer or the label printer that contains the word DYMO from the Parts Label Printer droplist.

To select a default printer

1. Select Configure > Machine Settings from the menu bar. The Machine Settings screen opens.
2. Click on the Default Printers link under Print Settings.
3. From the Standard Printer section, select a printer from the Standard Printer droplist.
4. From the Parts Label Printer section, select the printer from the Parts Label Printer droplist.
5. Click OK.
